“You may be good. You may even be better than everyone else. But without a coach you will never be as good as you could be.” Andy Stanley
The Professional Life Coaching track trains students to provide holistic, results-oriented helping ministry. Because this program is progressive, participation requires committing to the complete 32 week track; courses are not designed to be taken individually.
This course integrates the introductory Professional Life Coaching curriculum designed by the American Association of Christian Counselors and their associated Light University along with an understanding of paraprofessional Christian counseling. After completing this track, students will have an expert understanding of coaching theory and will have been exposed to many practical assessment, development and measurement tools to enhance their helping ministry through professional life coaching. Although the objectives of this study are not specifically to develop vocational expertise in the field of life coaching, skills learned though this study will provide a substantial base from which to pursue professional standing if desired.
The curriculum includes video teaching from some of the most successful and effective Christian Life Coaches and students completing the course will earn certification in the two foundational Life Coaching series. The minimum curriculum investment for the entire course is $350; $185 of the minimum will be due at the first class, the remainder will be due at approximately the midpoint of the course.
